We are engineers who have spent our careers inside operating plants. That is where our designs come from, and it is the standard every one of them is measured against.
Built on process and plant experience
ARINA I&E Solutions grew out of a simple observation: too many industrial projects are drawn by people who have never run the plant they are designing for. Our team came the other way round, from process engineering and day-to-day operations in steelmaking and metallurgical facilities.
That background shapes how we work. We start from the constraints an operating shop actually lives with: available space, existing utilities, shutdown windows, maintenance access and the production that cannot stop while the work happens.
From our base in Donostia, in the Basque Country, we deliver projects for steel and metallurgy groups across Europe and beyond, either as a full technical partner or as discreet back-office support to another engineering team.

Plant reality first
Every concept is tested against how the shop actually runs: its real constraints, its shutdown calendar and the decisions operators make daily.
One accountable partner
Engineering, equipment supply and execution under a single responsibility. Fewer interfaces between disciplines means fewer places for a project to fall through.
Senior people on site
The specialists who commission and start up our systems are the same seniority that designed them, not a junior team handed a folder of drawings.
Built to be operated
Safety, maintainability and energy performance are part of the design brief from day one, not adjustments made after handover.
Basque roots, international projects
Our engineering office sits in Donostia (Gipuzkoa), within one of Europe's densest industrial and metallurgical clusters. Project delivery, commissioning and expert secondments travel wherever the plant is.
